Spring Fever

Spring is not the best of seasons.
Cold and flu are two good reasons;
wind and rain and other sorrow,
warm today and cold tomorrow.

I'm truly wondering if Spring is coming? It comes and teases us and brings us hope...but then today I looked out the window and literally saw a blizzard...

"I'm Singing In The Rain"

Ok...So we weren't exactly singing in the rain. Shauna and I ran 17.5 miles today. The heavens opened up the last three miles of our run, with the coldest rain ever, and we didn't think we were going to make it back. Both of our hands and forearms stopped working because we were so cold. Doing a thumbs up was a workout in itself.

Happy Belated Birthday Lunch

Sometimes I'm lucky enough to have some free time in my day to enjoy my family. Aileen and I were able to take Mom out for a belated Birthday lunch.
Baby Joey is so sweet. His little sign language could entertain us for days and days.

Aileen and I are trying to stick to our Points. I am back on the wagon again...

I HATE the wagon and I will show you why...

5 Grateful Things:
*Baylie and her excitment for her first softball practice
*Lunch with Aileen, Mom and Baby Joey
*I resisted that evil beast that is taunting me and my diet.
*Newly red painted toenails
*Prayer

Spring? Does It Really Exist?

My Sweet Baylie Boo has been really sick for the past 2 to 3 days...but because of the almost 70 degree weather, we ventured out to get some much needed Vitamin D. A trip to Salem Pond just might be the remedy that cures.

10:56 p.m. This day honestly was so beautiful and I was so grateful that I went to Sacrament Meeting and then came home and took Baylie for a drive to get her out of her funk.
Between then and I now I don't know how I have let the anxiety creep in and take over me. It always seems to happen on Sunday evenings because I don't know if I can do another new week again.
5 Grateful Things:
*Baylie is feeling better
*Muffin was so much fun at Salem Pond
*Trail mix without raisins
*69 degrees today
*Blossoms on the trees without snow covering them
